Every second Wednesday, T7 get to do a lesson of "Extra Music", and we often spend the time doing extension work. Today we discussed cochlear deterioration and how you can tell people's age by what frequencies they can hear. Do the quiz below to determine your age! (For the record, I can not hear the last FIVE frequencies... *sad face*) We would like our teachers to comment. How many can you hear? How many can't you hear? How old are your ears???
Thank you! Mrs George and T7

Year 6 students have been busy filming their incredible, incredible short films in preparation for the Wakakirri Screen Challenge. Have a look below at the video from WakaTV, explaining the challenge and what it entails.
You are all superstars!
Welcome back to Term 3 everyone. I hope you had a restful holiday and you are ready for an exciting term of learning! I have so many things I am looking forward to this term!
Wakakirri! This term the Year 6 students will be entering the final stage of creating their Wakakirri screen challenge entries. So far we have created stories, learnt about camera angles, storyboarded our concepts, composed an original film score to go with our short films and this term we are starting the filming process. Lights, camera, action! Notes will be handed out today or tomorrow, and need to be returned by the 11th of August. Senior Dalefest! Band and choir, hold onto your socks, we are headed to Dalefest! On the 8th of September, we will be boarding the bus and heading off to Kelmscott Hall to participate in on of the longest running choral festivals in Perth. Notes will come out 2 weeks before the event, and there will be a small charge to cover the bus hire. Have an incredible term everyone! Mrs George x |
